Capstone Construction’s commercial division recently delivered a new facility for GM Leitch Materials Handling — suppliers and servicers of material handling vehicles for a wide range of industries across the Highlands.
The project saw the demolition of the existing workshop and yard, followed by new substructure and drainage works, including the installation of a new separator unit. A new steel-framed building was constructed, complete with external cladding, an internal mezzanine floor and steel staircase. The team also delivered mechanical and electrical installations, including a Powrmatic Oil Unit Heater with associated ventilation ductwork, a roof-mounted solar PV system, and full lighting, CCTV, intruder and fire alarm systems.
Externally, new electrically operated roller doors were installed alongside EV charging points, a cycle shelter and protective bollards. The yard was resurfaced in concrete, with new palisade security fencing and sliding cantilevered gates completing the project.
It’s been a pleasure working with our office neighbours, GM Leitch — and well done to the entire project team! Pictured are Kameron Mackay, Quantity Surveyor at Capstone Construction, and Daniel Spiller, Finance Director at GM Leitch.
We operate all over Scotland and in a range of trades.
