At the end of March 2025, we officially handed over the Slackbuie View residential development to HHA (Highland Housing Alliance), marking the successful delivery of 24 high-quality mid-market rental homes in the sought-after Slackbuie area of Inverness.

Building on a series of successful projects for HHA across the Highlands, we led the construction of this diverse development, which comprises 18 two-bedroom cottage flats, four three-bedroom semi-detached homes, and two four-bedroom semi-detached houses — each designed to meet a range of household needs.

The project presented several construction challenges, including a constrained site and the delivery of a three-storey block of flats. However, thanks to our site management team — together with a dedicated group of subcontractors — we rose to the challenge and delivered a high-quality development we’re extremely proud of.

Notably, Site Manager Bob Grant was presented with an award from Premier Guarantee, which recognised ‘quality workmanship and site management’ at the housing development. The site also provided various opportunities for apprentices to gain hands-on experience, including Niall Ross, a Trainee Site Manager who worked under Bob’s guidance throughout the project.
